Andrea focuses on tumor-stroma interactions and therapy resistance in pancreatic and upper GI cancers. She completed her PhD at Amsterdam UMC (2018-2023), applying phosphoproteomics, organoids, and mouse models to pancreatic cancer. At the MDLZ lab, she leads translational projects focusing on patient-derived multicellular models to identify effective treatment strategies that can overcome chemoresistance.
